Desktop / IOS / Android / App - finally we did it!

We never thought it would be this hard.

It was a Saturday afternoon when I was introduced to Ruben by a mutual friend and I immediately felt like this was the guy I needed. That was 7 years ago! I created an enterprise platform and failed several times to get the right programmer. We met at a mall the following week for a cappuccino, discussed what I needed and how to get the job done. What we mainly did - and weren't aware of - we formed a team.

One day I was designing a website to connect employees and companies. I thought, "What is work anyway?"

You learn to do or make something and you get paid for it.

Like most people, I know so much more than the things I need for my job. Think about it - the architect whose hobby is motorcycling (and repairing it) or the banker who has a wealth of experience in mergers and acquisitions. Or the example of the woman calling Ireland because her software isn't working and there's someone two rooms down who fixed the problem 3 weeks ago.

Can't we bring together all the know-how in the world and make it visible to everyone?

I called Ruben.

In a matter of seconds it was clear - "That's what we want - we want to connect people according to their areas of interest".

It was not easy!

I don't want to bore you with what we've done, changed, done differently, and changed again. It went on endlessly. The desktop version - Android version - IOS version and the app. It took a long time and we are both exhausted. Now it's finished (can't believe it) and it feels weird to launch it after such a long time.
